Working With Communities In Schools

I've really enjoyed working with the Communities in Schools Program. They're something really rewarding about helping children do better in school, especially after learning more about South Carolina's education system this semester in class. The children who we worked with all seemed like they want to do better. They worked hard, and yes maybe some of them needed a little motivation, but who doesn't need some every now and then.

I'm thankful that I got the opportunity to work with this organization, and I would love to continue doing so in the future. Communities is Schools has a mission that many people should really start paying more attention to. Drop out prevention may be the key to ensuring that the people who would be homeless or poor in the next 20 years or so, have homes, jobs, and happy lives. I, for one would love to know that I had a hand in making sure that comes to pass.

I learned so much! I'll probably continue working with this organization in the future!
